From 2016-2017 I created a webseries called "CH/SS", a Youtube channel drawing inspirations from Cold War intrigue and other contemporary Slender-series. This project taught me a lot about how to draw value from nothing- finding creativity even with limited resources. I was only 15, with a budget of 0 dollars. However, even with these limitations I found the ability to express what I wanted to portray in creative ways.
Inspired by the history of the Cold War and fiction such as the SCP Foundation and Marblehornets, CH/SS tells its narrative through the use of analog aesthetics of the 80s. It is a monster story, a mystery, and a tragedy. By utilizing other forms of social media such as Twitter and Mediafire, it requires some investigative work to unravel the full story.
Starting from 2016 I have maintained a personal channel where I sometimes post horror shorts or other video works. This channel contains horror themed videos of varying qualities and content, and serves as a creative platform for me to share the things that I have created.
Between 2020-2023 I uploaded an unfinished webseries called "Good Old Days", a mostly text/ambience driven narrative about a protagonist surviving in a post-apocalyptic eastern seaboard settlement. Story was mostly told through the use of diagetic sounds and simple 2D animations. I felt I became limited and repetitive, having written myself into a creative corner- never being able to improve or evolve my storytelling style. I decided to put it on indefinite hiatus, as I felt I could not deliver a satisfying or engaging series as a result.
In the early days of January 2024, I started my newest project "EYESTAR HYPOTHESIS", a webseries about a protagonist navigating his missing friend's data cache of mysterious footage. After learning Blender in 2022 and slowly self-teaching myself simple animation and modelling skills, I felt I was prepared to evolve my static talking heads style into a more comprehensive creative experience, utilizing 3D models and animation, live action segments, and improved visual and audio design.
